The ACA WA Branch is thrilled to invite you to our next Branch Technical Evening focusing on Corrosion Under Insulation. We’ll be joined by two fantastic guest speakers, Dr Thunyaluk (Kod) Pojtanabuntoeng will speak on some of the Recent Developments in CUI Research from Curtin Corrosion Centre and joining us Remotely from the UK, Dr Prafull Sharma, Chief Technology Officer of CorrosionRADAR will join us to discuss Corrosion Under Insulation Risk Analytics with Monitoring Systems using Electro-Magnetic Guided Radar (EMGR). Earlier this year, CorrosionRADAR won the Materials Performance (MP) / Association for Materials Protection and Performance (formerly NACE) Corrosion Innovation of the Year Award for its ground-breaking Predictive Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) Monitoring System – a next generation technology solution that is transforming the global response to the enormous industrial challenges created by CUI.

The Queensland Branch of The ACA invites you to join us for a Practical Demonstration of Induction Stripping provided by ACR Tech (Australasian Coating Removal Technology). RPR Induction Stripping is a process to remove a coating without it disintegrating and without additional blast media, enabling a waste free removal process compared to traditional methods. The Team at ACR Tech have kindly offered to host a demonstration of the Induction Stripping Process for The Queensland ACA Branch at their facility in Pinkenba.

Event Update 02/09/21: We’re excited to announce that this event has now been rescheduled for Friday 29/10/21.
The Australasian Corrosion Association, Australian Foundry Institute, Materials Australia and Australian Institute for Non-Destructive Testing will now be hosting a joint Spring, and all our members and any colleagues and guests are warmly invited to attend.
