8:00 am - 4:30 pm
The NZ Branch of the ACA is excited to announce that we are partnering with SESOC to present a corrosion stream at their upcoming conference. This will be the sixth New Zealand Conference Hosted by SESOC and will be a premiere event for structural engineers and anyone with an interest in the built environment.
The theme of this year’s conference is “A New Beginning”. It is 10 years since the Christchurch Earthquake Sequence, an event that significantly changed Structural Engineering in New Zealand. Further challenges to the engineering profession have emerged in 2020 with the post-Covid 19 environment requiring us to explore new ways of delivering services and adaptive working methods for the future.
The conference will bring together professionals from a broad range of disciplines, including architecture, business, public policy, emergency response planning, regulation, and the legal profession. In addition to presentations from authors of submitted papers, they will have a wonderful line up of invited speakers who will be sharing their experiences and perspectives on structural engineering.
The ACA’s stream will be taking place on Tuesday the 6th of July, the second day of the event and single-day registrations are available.
You can head to the SESOC website for more information on the conference and to register.
