Description
The VIC Branch of the ACA is heading to Kingfield Galvanising for a site visit. Kingfield Galvanizing describes itself as Australia’s first sustainable hot-dip galvanizing plant. Kingfield’s investment in technology, sustainability and automation has delivered a state-of-the-art plant that is considered a benchmark for the future of the hot-dip galvanizing industry. They were recognised as a recipient of the 2017 Premier’s Sustainability Award and the winner of Process Innovation at the 2017 Australian Construction Awards.
Kingfield’s plant is capable of galvanizing large-scale components for award-winning major construction projects, infrastructure works and a wide range of other applications. From art installations to residential building frames, commercial building facades, multi-level carparks, shopping centres, light poles and sign structures, hot-dip galvanizing offers the most effective steel coating for corrosion protection.
This tour is not to be missed and will be an eye-opener for those who have seen galvanizing plants in the past or have never seen one before. All attendees must be registered with Kingfield prior to the visit and places are strictly limited. Book now so as to avoid missing out.
