The Australasian Corrosion Association’s flagship event, The Annual Corrosion & Prevention Conference, was scheduled to be held at the NEX in Newcastle NSW, 14 – 17 November 2021. Our priority for this conference has always been to deliver an in-person event. In our efforts to achieve this, ACA Management, with the support of the ACA Board, have decided to reschedule our 2021 conference date to the new dates of February 13 – 16 2022, at the same venue in Newcastle. This decision does not affect our plans for Corrosion and Prevention 2022, and the conference in Perth will go ahead in November 2022 as scheduled.
Over the years, through our post-event attendee surveys, C&P delegates have consistently conveyed that our conference is not just an event to learn, garner information and promote their offerings but an unparalleled opportunity to network and socialise, face to face, for those in the corrosion industry. Thus, in order to better provide these types of valuable opportunities, we believe that a postponement to an early 2022, in-person Conference, following the scheduled completion of the Australian National COVID-19 Vaccination rollout, is the best path forward.
We’d like to thank everyone, who has already registered, for their understanding and patience during this process. All attendee and exhibitor registrations for the original conference date will automatically be transferred to the new dates, however, if the new date is unsuitable for you, please contact email@example.com to discuss your options.
This C&P conference boasts over 70 papers from Australian and International presenters, plenary presentations from leaders in our industry, a trades hall with over 60 exhibitors, the third Annual Applicator and Coatings Day, and a host of satellite events such as the YCG Social, ACA Foundation Dinner, our Women in Corrosion Event and our Annual Awards Dinner. We can’t wait to share all of this with you in February.
We’d like to take this opportunity to again thank all of our fantastic Sponsors and Exhibitors for their ongoing support of The ACA and Corrosion & Prevention 2021.
We look forward to seeing you all in Newcastle in February.
The ACA Corrosion and Prevention Conference team.
