Last week marked the final chapter in Ross Boucher’s tenure at the ACA. Ross has been with the ACA for nearly six years, filling a number of roles for our organisation throughout his time. Joining us as Sales and Business Development Manager in 2017, Ross led the growth of our training business and has had a strong impact on all of us when it comes to fostering a customer focused approach across our business. Through his entire time here, he has been instrumental in strengthening relationships with members and with other like-minded associations.

Last year Ross took the helm as General Manager and helped the ACA successfully manage the impact of Covid-19 on both our operations and our team. It’s been an exciting time for all of us and we couldn’t have come this far without Ross’ passion and commitment to all of you. His expertise and warm, professional approach to all has added so much to every conversation, making things happen in sometimes very stressful and changing business conditions.

It’s been a privilege to work closely with Ross over the last few years and he leaves the ACA having built a more successful and cohesive culture. Ross brought to his role a sense of enthusiasm for growth and improvement, and a strong focus on team unity and culture. A member of the ACA for many years before he took on a staff role, and moving on to a new role with one of our Platinum Members, we’re sure he will continue to be an integral part of the ACA for many years to come.

On behalf of the ACA Board, the ACA Staff team and the entire Australasian Corrosion Community, I’d like to thank Ross for his incredible service to the ACA and wish him all the best for his future endeavors.

To ensure leadership continuity, the Board advises that Kim Jones will serve as the ACA Interim CEO. The search for our next executive officer is currently underway, and if you are interested in the position, you can find more details here.

Kind regards,

Dean Ferguson
