The Australasian Corrosion Association Registration Policy
All courses are presented in English.
Every participant is responsible for their own well-being at all times. The Australasian Corrosion Association cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss or injury.
Course fees also include course manual, examination (unless stated otherwise) certificate (if applicable), light lunch and refreshment breaks on each day during the course.
Places are allocated in order of full payment having been received or a non refundable deposit of $500.
Purchase orders are not considered as full payment. This policy supersedes any terms and conditions outlined within a supplied purchase order.
The ACA does not supply accounts to corporations or individuals.
Payment is required for registration and no places will be held pending payment.
Course cancellation by student
Written cancellation MUST be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org with the attention to the Training Coordinator.
- Credit Voucher (1 year expiry, full amount credited, only available more than 14 days prior to the course start date)
- Refund (If more than 7 days prior to course start date, 20% admin fee applies of full amount)
- Refund (Within 7 days of course start date, 50% admin fee applies of full amount)
If no written cancellation is received prior to the course and the participant does not attend on the day(s), then the participant or the company are liable for full course fees and no refund will be given.
Student cancellation due to illness will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
ALL REFUNDS WILL BE RETURNED TO ORIGINAL CREDIT CARD OR ACCOUNT SUPPLIED, NO EXCEPTIONS
The Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA) reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course in the event of unforeseen circumstances or insufficient student numbers. If a course is cancelled by the ACA participants will be offered a place on the next available course or may request a full refund at no cost. Refund of fees is the full extent of ACA’s liability in these circumstances.
Transfers of course registrations
Transfer of course registration (for instance to a later course) must be supplied in writing to the Training
Coordinator at email@example.com. For transfers more than 7 days prior to course
commencement, are subject to an administration fee of 20% of the full course fee.
Transfer of course registration within 7 days prior to course commencement will be subject to an
administration fee of 50% of the full course fee.
If a participant cannot attend, they may nominate a substitute in writing to attend in their place, no less
than 3 business days prior to the course commencing. Written notification is to be directed to the Training Coordinator at: firstname.lastname@example.org
NACE CIP and CP Practical Exam
If participant fails, the NACE CIP or CP practical examination they will be required to pay the full course
fee minus 20% to re-sit the examination.
A refund will not be awarded on the basis of a failed exam.
NACE CIP Theory Exam
If participant fails, NACE CIP theory examination, students must register through Pearson VUE for the
CBT theory exam retake at a cost of $150.00USD for each retake
NACE CP Theory Exam
If participant fails, NACE CP theory examination, Students must register through Pearson VUE for the
CBT theory exam retake at a cost of $250.00USD for each retake

ACA Course Examinations
The fee for re-sitting the exam is $285.00AUD including GST. Please contact us if you wish to attend so
that we can make arrangements. Students are permitted one exam re-take per course.
